Proconex Named a 2019 Top Workplace By The Inquirer

March 15, 2019

Royersford, PA – Proconex has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2019 honor by The Philadelphia Inquirer. The Top Workplaces lists is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“It is indeed an honor to receive the Top Workplaces award, ” said John Otte, President of Proconex. “The most important part of the process for us is receiving feedback from our employees. Reviewing the results gives us an opportunity to learn where we excelled, and where we can continue to grow and improve.”

This is the second time Proconex has participated in the program and been named a Top Workplaces company. The honor of being selected is a direct reflection of the dedication of its employees who work together each day and embody the essence of the Proconex brand: excellence personified, relentlessly dedicated, authentic, ever mindful, and creating momentum.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

Proconex has been in business for 70 years and over time has established a set of core values, many of which were referenced in the survey. The similarity in sentiment was clear across the organization. Proconex employees feel a great sense of pride in the company’s commitment to customers’ success, as well as the importance of conducting business with strong values and ethics.

The company continues to experience growth in employee headcount, sourcing top candidates from employee referrals, social media, and traditional search methods. In addition, Proconex has a strong emphasis on Talent Development through its internship and co-op programs.

Proconex provides employees with a range of opportunities to connect with each other and local communities through service and social experiences. Most notably this is accomplished through the Proconex Community program, an effort that solidifies the existing corporate culture and reinforces the company’s dedication to its employees and the local community. Learn more about the Proconex Community here.

Employees also stay connected through an internal newsletter, The Pulse, which features new employee introductions, key projects and customer interactions, upcoming company events and life events such as weddings, births and exciting family news. In addition to providing employee news, the Pulse team develops activities that inspire health, wellness, creativity, and fun. Recently, Proconex celebrated its 70th Anniversary with activities that provided fun for both our employees and their families.
