President

John Otte is the President of Proconex, holding the titles of Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Visionary. In this capacity, he undertakes the critical responsibility of strategically aligning the leadership team, acting as the steward of the Emerson relationship, and overseeing the unique culture at Proconex.

Noteworthy initiatives under his guidance include the expansion of Proconex’s service execution capabilities, the creation of Valpro, the establishment of the AVS Joint Venture, and navigating the organization through the COVID pandemic. Otte has played a pivotal role in the company's expansion, contributing to its growth from 70 to 400 employees and effectively doubling customer orders, propelling the company to its current standing as a $200 million enterprise.

With a background featuring two years at General Electric in both inside and outside sales through a Technical Sales Training Program, Otte brings valuable field experience to his role. His educational foundation includes a BS in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Vermont. His commitment extends to various leadership roles in SGP teams and board memberships, reflecting his dedication to the success and growth of Proconex.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Otte is personally motivated by coaching others to achieve their potential and beyond. Dawn Seifried

Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Dawn Seifried is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Proconex, steering a comprehensive array of functions crucial to organizational support.

At Proconex, Seifried has orchestrated remarkable achievements, including a 162% increase in revenue and a 316% rise in operating profit. Notable projects under her leadership involve the creation of the business analytics department, the formation of the AVS Joint Venture, and the strategic upgrade of IFS.

With a rich professional history spanning two decades in senior executive and CFO roles, Seifried's expertise lies in finance, accounting, human resources, IT, legal, quality, safety, and business operations. Her prior experiences include successful tenures at CMC Energy and Clearfield Energy, marked by significant revenue increases and successful negotiations during challenging economic climates.

Seifried, a Certified Public Accountant, holds a BS from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and The Wharton School.

Jamie Barrett

Senior Director of Engineering Services

Jamie Barrett is the Senior Director of Engineering Services at Proconex, overseeing the operational delivery of systems engineering solutions.

His responsibilities encompass the strategic development and execution of the systems business, emphasizing leadership development and talent enrichment. Barrett's achievements include a 10% growth in engineering headcount, successful organizational restructuring, and the establishment of a fit-for-purpose quality management system.

With a rich background in automation and digital solutions in manufacturing environments, Barrett brings two decades of engineering and management experience to his role. Barrett's prior roles include leadership positions at Cognizant and Zenith Technologies, where he played key roles in business unit integration and strategic business growth.

Holding a BE from University College Cork, Barrett finds inspiration in strategic business planning, leadership development, and team enhancement.
