Proconex employees joined together this Christmas to support Toys for Tots, a program that helps bring toys to less fortunate children throughout the United States during the Holiday season.
School may be out for the summer, but many schools are gearing up for the school year to ensure that all students have the supplies they need to succeed! Many socioeconomically disadvantaged families in the area struggle to be able to get school supplies for their children.
As summer approaches, food pantries usually see a decrease in their inventory. Proconex employees were happy to help alleviate some of these issues and collected 288 pounds of food for a local food bank.
30 years ago, Pi Day was officially recognized on March 14th or 3.14 was chosen because it’s the first 3 digits of pi. Proconex celebrated the day with a pie tasting contest as well as a pizza pie lunch for its employees complete with T-shirts specifically designed for Proconex by one of our employees.
Proconex employees recently collected 120 pounds of candy during Halloween to support our troops overseas. The candy was collected, packaged, and shipped to our troops stationed all over the world.
Proconex employees recently united to collect nearly 100 items to donate to two local pet shelters.
Proconex employees rallied to support two local organizations, Laurel House in Norristown– a comprehensive domestic violence agency, and Open Door Ministry in Royersford – an organization that provides community-based programs, including a food pantry and thrift shop.
Each year national Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of Pi. For Proconex it was more like Pi plus two hundredths day as winter storm Stella moved our Pi Day celebration from 3/14 to 3/16.
