The Proconex Community partnered with Daily Bread Community Food Pantry in Collegeville, PA. Proconex employees and resource partners purchased $850 in food and personal items and delivered it along with an additional carload of non-perishable items at Daily Bread Community Food Pantry. The total weight of the donated items was almost 700 pounds! On top of that, Proconex gave the food pantry a $1,000 check to help the pantry pay their bills and continue to serve local families.
Food insecurity is a major issue that has been heightened during the pandemic. Our Daily Bread serves 250-300 families per month, but there is much longer list of families that reach out for help so they need all the support they can get.
